3,670 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 41,885 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 24,184 tests with antigen tests and 17,701 PCR tests. 

 

As a result of the testing, 3,670 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 436,573.

 

As for the positive rate, as of August 4, the daily rate of positive results is 8.76%, for the last 14 days – 7.85% and for 7 days – 8.67%. In the last 24 hours, 2,626 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 393,453. 

 

There have been 38 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,986 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
