45,163 remain infected with Covid in Georgia

Georgia has reported 3,731 new cases of coronavirus of 50,626 tests, 4,295 recoveries and 72 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

45,163 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

The country has confirmed 853,833 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 796,453 patients have recovered and 12,191 have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,491 cases 

Adjara – 172 cases 

Imereti – 646 cases

Kvemo Kartli – 196 cases 

Shida Kartli – 327 cases 

Guria – 104 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 328 cases 

Kakheti – 199 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 86 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 146 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 36 cases

6,541 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 

37,478 individuals are undergoing treatment at home

1,005,740 people have been completely vaccinated in the country since March 2021.
