Ukraine’s General Staff of the Armed Forces on Thursday released updated figures on Russia’s military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The Ukrainian military said Russia had lost an estimated 1,243,840 personnel in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, including 770 casualties reported in the past day. The figures include those killed or wounded.

The General Staff said that, between 25 February 2022 and 6 February 2026, Russia’s estimated total combat losses include:

  • Tanks: 11,642 (+5)

  • Armoured combat vehicles: 23,996 (+4)

  • Artillery systems: 36,975 (+60)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,636 (+2)

  • Air defence systems: 1,293 (+0)

  • Fixed-wing aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational and tactical-level drones: 125,094 (+1,351)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,205 (+0)

  • Light fast boats / ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Motor vehicles and fuel tankers: 77,149 (+200)

  • Special equipment: 4,062 (+0)
