First day of Ukraine-US-Russia talks concludes in Abu Dhabi

The first day of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia has concluded in Abu Dhabi, with discussions set to resume tomorrow.

The meeting lasted about five hours. The dialogue is being held at a technical level, continuing the format established during the first round of talks on January 23–24.

The meeting took place a day after Russia was accused of violating an “energy truce” with Ukraine and carrying out another strike on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, adding tension to the diplomatic process.
