Australian refiners suspend purchase of Russian crude oil

Australian refiner Viva Energy has suspended the purchase of Russian crude oil, responding to the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

 

Viva is now among a range of international companies which have either limited or suspended their activities with Russia.

 

The company says that they are alarmed by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

 

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 and continues bombilling of all cities of the country. 

 

Along with military infrastructure, Russia is shelling residential buildings.
