Georgian police have arrested two Turkish nationals wanted under Interpol Red Notices in the Black Sea city of Batumi, the Interior Ministry said on Monday.
The ministry said officers from the Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department detained the two men in separate operations carried out at different times in Batumi.
Both suspects were the subject of Interpol Red Notices issued at the request of Turkish law enforcement authorities.
Extradition procedures for both detainees are now under way in accordance with Georgian law.
