Georgia’s Central Criminal Police Department has arrested two Turkish nationals wanted by Interpol under Red Notices, the Interior Ministry said on Monday.

The two individuals were wanted at the request of Turkish law enforcement authorities for various types of crimes.

The suspects were arrested by Georgian law enforcement officers in Batumi at different times following investigative measures.

Extradition procedures for both detainees are currently underway in accordance with Georgian law.
