Turkey, Kazakhstan nationals wanted under Interpol Red Notices arrested in Georgian city of Batumi

Georgian police have arrested citizens of Turkey and Kazakhstan in the Black Sea resort city of Batumi who were wanted internationally under Interpol Red Notices, the Interior Ministry said on Saturday.

The Ministry said both individuals were being sought at the request of Turkish and Kazakh law enforcement agencies for various serious crimes.

Extradition procedures provided for by law are currently underway, the Ministry added.
