Biden to visit Poland this week

US President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Poland on Friday following his meetings in Brussels this week, the White House press office reports.  

 

Biden will join a NATO summit on March 24 and the European Council meeting, as world leaders seek to align their responses to Russia’s ongoing aggression in Ukraine.

 

Today Biden will have a phone conversion with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson “to discuss their coordinated responses to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine,” the White House says.

 

In Poland Biden will meet with President Andrzej Duda.
