Tbilisi Gogelia clinic, where citizens have allegedly been given Vitamin C injections instead of flu shots, had no right to vaccinate people at all, the Regulatory Agency for Medical and Pharmacological Activities has reported.

The agency says that doctors also lacked certificates to give the shot.

Several individuals claim that they were not shown the vaccine vials before being injected, but were asked to pay 75 GEL in advance.

According to preliminary reports, about 30 individuals were given the shot.

Police are also looking into the issue.
