Coronavirus daily cases at 865 in Georgia

Georgia has reported 865 new cases of coronavirus out of the 7,733 tests in the past 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in February 2020 is 1,629,930.

The  daily positivity rate as of yesterday is 11.19%, for the last 14 days – 18.43% and for the last seven days – 15.55%.

2,820 people have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, while  the total number of people recovered has increased to 1,570,884.

26 new cases of coronavirus deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. 

A total of 16,456 people have died from the virus since April 2020.

Imereti – 115, 

Kvemo Kartli – 65, 

Shida Kartli – 46, 

Guria – 65, 

Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 35, 

Kakheti – 57, 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 7, 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 11, 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 10.

More than 42,000 individuals remain infected with the virus in Georgia as of today.
