Coronavirus daily cases in Georgia stands at 5,050

Georgia has reported 5,050 new cases of coronavirus of 53,854 tests, 4,214 recoveries and 80 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

The country has confirmed 845,643 cases of coronavirus since February 2020 of which 788,201 patients have recovered and 12,054 have died from the virus.

 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,821 cases 

Adjara – 240 cases 

Imereti – 865 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 293 cases 

Shida Kartli – 482 cases 

Guria – 160 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 475 cases 

Kakheti – 317 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 172 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 156 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 69 cases

6,554 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 37,673 are at home.

 

1,156,998 individuals have gotten at least one shot of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, while 998,613 people have been fully vaccinated.
