Coronavirus: daily cases stand at 13,150, active cases reach 151,139

Georgia has reported 13,150 new cases of coronavirus of 45,623 tests, 8,503 recoveries, and 35 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

151,139 individuals remain infected with coronavirus in Georgia as of now.

The virus has killed 14,980 in the country since April 2020.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

Tbilisi – 7,078 cases 

Adjara – 1,734 cases 

Imereti – 1,740 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 661 cases 

Shida Kartli – 554 cases 

Guria – 119 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 640 cases 

Kakheti – 206 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 136 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 268 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 14 cases

1,219,721 people have been fully vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021. 

Omicron has accounted for the majority of new cases in the county.
