Coronavirus in Georgia: new cases stand at 4,128, deaths hit record high 79

Georgia has reported 4,128 new cases of coronavirus earlier today which is a slight decrease compared to the figures of the last several days, while daily deaths have hit 79 in the past 24 hours which is a record high figure since the country confirmed its first case of coronavirus at the end of February 2020.
56,200 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia currently.
5,611 individuals have recovered from the virus around the country in the past 24 hours.
The country has had 532,171 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
468,917 of the 532,171 patients have recovered, while 7,028 have died from the virus.
Most of the new cases were recorded in capital Tbilisi – 1,540 cases , Adjara – 494 cases and Imereti regions- 462 cases
7,357 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 45,495 others are at home.
1,065,848 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 331,736 individuals have been fully vaccinated.
Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines are available in the country as of today.
