Covid daily deaths still high in Georgia

Georgia has reported 4,459 new cases of coronavirus of 51,321 tests, 3,957 recoveries and 65 deaths in the past 24 hours.45,799 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

Georgia has confirmed 850,102 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 792,158 patients have recovered and 12,119 have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,740 cases 

Adjara – 186 cases 

Imereti – 843 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 257 cases 

Shida Kartli – 349 cases 

Guria – 136 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 358 cases 

Kakheti – 260 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 128 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 171 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 31 cases

6,545 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, 38,129 individuals are receiving treatment at home, while 41,760 others are in self-isolation.

998,613 people have been fully vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021.
