Daily Covid cases decrease to 599 in Georgia

Georgia has reported 599 new cases of coronavirus and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, while 3,846 individuals  have recovered from the virus in the reported period.

22,532 tests have been conducted  across the country in the past 24 hours,  including 20,307 rapid and 2,225 PCR tests.

Georgia has plans to lift all coronavirus restrictions, except the wearing of facemasks in closed facilities and transport, starting Monday, March 28.

Health officials say that the pandemic is nearing its end.

Daily coronavirus cases hit more than 25,000 in mid-winter.
