Georgia maintains high rate of Covid deaths

Georgia has reported 4,331 new cases of coronavirus of 52,987 tests, 4,804 recoveries and 57 deaths in the last 24 hours.


The new cases for Tbilisi and regions were as follows: 


Tbilisi – 1,623 cases
Imereti – 822 cases
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 326 cases
Kakheti – 311 cases
Adjara – 184 cases
Guria – 86 cases
Shida Kartli – 428 cases
Kvemo Kartli – 131 cases
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 33 cases


Currently 38,722 patients are undergoing treatment at home, while  6,523 patients are in hospitals.


2,122,856 individuals have received one dose of the coronavirus vaccine since March 2021, of which 986,877 have been fully vaccinated. 


Covid green passports will come into play in Georgia starting December 1.
