US President Joe Biden says that there will be no Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine.
"If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine, again, then there will be — there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it,” Biden said.
The promise came on the heels of Biden’s meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the White House yesterday.
The US President did not say how he would prevent the implementation of the project, but stated that -"I promise you, we'll be able to do it."
