Zelensky calls on int’l community to stop Russia’s bombing of nunlear power plant

Russia threatens the whole world by bombing the nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine. The world community must stop Russia before it is  too late, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday.

Zelensky stressed that on Sunday  night, a Russian missile fell 300 meters from the nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine, resulting in a brief power outage.

"The occupiers have again forgotten what a nuclear power plant is. Russia poses a threat to the whole world. They must be stopped before it is too late," wrote the President of Ukraine.

At night, Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on a nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine. One of the missiles fell 300 meters far from the nuclear reactors.

"The shock wave damaged the building of the nuclear power plant, broke more than 100 windows. It turned off one of the hydroelectric plants of the Alexandrovsk hydroelectric power plant, which is part of the South Ukraine energy complex, and three high-voltage power transmission lines were also cut off," Kyiv said.
