Russia says Ukraine’s spy arrested at Georgian border

A 28-year-old citizen of one of the CIS member states has been arrested at the Russian-Georgian border, the North Ossetian investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia, said on Tuesday, noting the individual was suspected of spying for Ukraine.

The report did not specify the citizenship of the suspect, as well as the exact location of the border where he had been arrested.

The agency claimed after the arrest, "the man presented the correspondence saved in the mobile device, in the Telegram messenger, the content of which indicated that he was providing photos and videos about the location of the military equipment of the Russian Federation to the contact person on the Ukrainian side."

The North Ossetian Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia has opened a criminal case against the detainee and is investigating the offense for spying, TASS  said.
