Kyiv claims 128,420 Russians killed since outbreak of hostilities

The Ukrainian defence forces on Wednesday said the country's troops had killed about 128,420 Russian servicemembers since the outbreak of hostilities on February 24 of the last year. 

The office said 920 Russian troops were killed on Tuesday alone. 

It also claimed the Ukrainian military had destroyed 3,209 enemy tanks (+8), 6,382 armored vehicles (+4), 2,207 artillery systems (+10), 458 MLRS, 221 air defense systems, 293 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 1,951 unmanned aerial vehicles, 796 cruise ships, 18 ships and boats, 5,061 vehicles and fuel trucks (+13) and 200 pieces of special equipment.

Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, with hostilities still in progress.
