If we want independence, state, we must stand together against enemy, not each other - President on war anniversary

If we want independence, for which our people have fought. If we really want this independence, if we want a state, we must stand together and fight together against a common enemy, not each other, President Salome Zourabichvili said on Monday in her message on the Russia-Georgia 2008 war anniversary.

She said Russia had been using both force and its soft power against Georgia over the years.

The Russian invasion in Georgia 15 years ago had left about 400 killed and more than 27,000 internally displaced.
