Authorities in Tbilisi and various regions have arrested 14 individuals, including seven alleged drug dealers, on charges related to drug crimes, the Georgian Interior Ministry said on Friday. 

The Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with police departments in Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Ajara, Imereti, and Guria, conducted extensive operational and investigative measures leading to the apprehension of these suspects.

The arrested individuals comprise both Georgian nationals and foreign citizens.

Law enforcement officials seized significant quantities of various narcotics as evidence during the operations. Furthermore, under judicial authorization, controlled purchases of drugs were conducted multiple times, along with covert audio-video recordings, targeting individuals accused of illegal drug possession.
