Tbilisi Mayor announces inaugural Urban Fest

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze on Wednesday announced the inaugural Urban Fest is set to take place on April 20-21 in Deda Ena garden, supported by Tbilisi City Hall and organized by the Federation of Urban Sports. The festival aims to foster the growth of urban sports and encourage a healthy lifestyle among youth, he said.

He added Urban Fest had gained popularity in various cities worldwide, and Tbilisi was excited to join in. The event will feature sports competitions, entertaining games, craft exhibitions and sales, as well as food zones. The festival will conclude with a vibrant closing ceremony, Kaladze pledged.


He further emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating, "Sports, health, and promoting a healthy lifestyle are paramount. We have consistently supported similar projects, and this festival will receive our full backing."
