Georgia’s Internally Displaced Persons, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency will purchase housing for more than 400 forcibly displaced families, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
The list of eligible families has been published on the Agency’s official website. Beneficiaries have been given a six-month period to select a home of their choice in any region of Georgia and submit the details to the Agency for purchase.
The Ministry noted that, alongside the construction of new residential complexes for IDPs, the home-purchase programme has expanded in recent years. In 2025 alone, the Agency bought homes for up to 3,000 displaced families.
Authorities say the process of providing durable housing solutions for internally displaced families will continue at an accelerated pace this year.
