UK Embassy condemns ‘baseless and aggressive’ attacks on German Ambassador in Georgia

The British Embassy in Georgia on Friday issued a statement condemning what it described as “unfounded and aggressive personal attacks” targeting the German Ambassador in Tbilisi.

“This represents the latest example in a series of hostile disinformation efforts aimed at discrediting Germany and other European countries - partners who have stood by Georgia for decades,” the Embassy said.

The statement added that the United Kingdom stands in solidarity with Germany and called on Georgian authorities to stop spreading false narratives regarding Western support for Georgia and its people.
