Education minister returning to academic activities in Kutaisi university – gov’t

Mikheil Chkhenkeli, an incumbent education minister, is returning to academic activities and will continue working as the chairman of the International Advisory Board of Kutaisi International University, the government administration said on Monday. 

 

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has been scheduled to nominate the country’s new education minister later on Monday. 

 

A ruling party MP Giorgi Amilakhvari is expected to take the post.
