Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze says that the restrictions in force today will improve the current epidemic by 80 percent. She told reporters about it. “Restrictions starting today will improve the epidemic we have at this stage by about 80 percent.

However, in order for us to actually see this improvement, it will take some time, and this period, as the whole community already knows, is considered within 2 weeks. It has been decided that the 3-week restriction is for us to be able to monitor the positive progress that is expected to improve the epidemic for 2 weeks” – Tikaradze said.

From August 14 to September 4, the Coordinating Council decided to impose certain restrictions across the country. According to the government decree, the movement of municipal transport will be restricted, but the restriction will not apply to intercity transport.
