Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said the conflict in the Middle East can only be brought to an end through dialogue and meaningful negotiations.

Erdoğan stressed that diplomatic engagement remains the only viable path to stopping the war.

According to the Turkish President, what he described as Israel’s uncompromising, maximalist and radical position risks undermining prospects for a political solution.

“No country that values peace and stability should continue fuelling the fire that Israel has unjustly ignited in our region,” Erdoğan said.
