The 131st session of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in the village of Ergneti in the Gori municipality of Georgia, reviewing all significant incidents in the occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous meeting.

Representatives of the State Security Service reiterated calls for the prosecution of those responsible for the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi and demanded the immediate release of all individuals held in unlawful detention.

Officials also called for the safe and dignified return of activist Tamar Mearakishvili, forcibly removed from occupied Tskhinvali.

The session further addressed restrictions on free movement, including detailed discussions on transit points ahead of the upcoming Easter holiday.
