EU’s Borrell takes shelter during Kyiv visit amid Russian air raid alert

Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, was forced to take shelter on Monday in Kyiv as Russian missile strikes triggered an air raid alert.
Borrell, who is on an official visit to Ukraine, shared his experience on social media, highlighting the continued impact of the conflict on Ukrainians.
“Starting my day in Kyiv in the shelter, as Russia unleashes another missile attack.This is the daily reality for the Ukrainian people since Russia‘s full-scale invasion”, he wrote.
