The European Union Delegation to Georgia has extended its congratulations to the country ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays, emphasising unity, hope and shared values.

In a public statement, the EU Delegation said that at a time when hope and solidarity are especially important, it wished peace and prosperity to the people of Georgia in the coming year.

“We believe in Georgia, just as the Georgian people believe in the European Union,” the statement said, adding that the EU looks forward to continuing to build a shared European future together.
