Posting the Front News story over a brutal murder in Tbilisi back in July 2021, Andreas Werner has shared memories with Shanae Brooke Edwards, an Australian teacher who was assasinated in the Georgian capital last year.

Werner says that very shortly before the crime, he visited Shanae in Georgia for a common vacation.

“In my last memory and unbelievable sadness I want to remember a vivacious, brave, incredibly social and loving woman.” he said, sharing the memory with the public via the link

Georgian citizen Rafael Mursakulov was sentenced to 20 years in prison by Tbilisi City Court earlier this month for premeditated murder of Shanae Brooke Edwards in July 2021.

The prosecution said that Mursakulov inflicted 11 injuries to the woman, five of them to the neck.  The deceased woman’s family was demanding a life sentence for the offender.  Armed robbery was named as a motive behind the murder.
