Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili says that the country has achieved a double-digit economic growth in 2021.

“The rapid economic recovery has allowed us to significantly improve key fiscal parameters, namely – the government debt to GDP has been reduced to 50% instead of the planned 60.1%; While the consolidated budget deficit was reduced to 6.1% of GDP instead of the originally planned 7.6%; So, I want to say once again that in 2021 we have achieved a double-digit economic growth, “- said Gharibashvili.

He also stated that ‘extra barriers should be removed in the country and that further support should be ensured for the people.
