Alexey Arestovich, Adviser to the Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine who was born in Dedoplistskaro district of Georgia, has called on Ukrainians to act like Georgian literary hero Data Tutashkhia and not immediately spread the photos or videos from the sites where some attacks or bombardment took place.
He stated that by doing so, Ukrainians are making the strategically important task of the Russian occupiers much easier.
“There was a famous literary hero in the Georgian epic Data Tutashkhia who had his rules of conspiracy and it sounded like this: if a meeting is scheduled, you have to arrive a day early or a day late and you will always survive. This is the rule we should apply,” he said.
“I understand, everyone wants to take a photo right away or write, ‘Look, a rocket has landed, this or that place has been bombed, God, what a horror,’ but by doing so, you are making things easier for enemy,” Arestovich said.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24,
The war has been in progress since then.
