Georgia reports 1,751 new cases of Covid, 19,057 remain infected

Georgia has reported 1,751 new cases of coronavirus of 42,657 tests, 1,633 recoveries and 30 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

19,057 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

Since February 2020 Georgia has confirmed 614,763 cases of coronavirus, 586,704 recoveries and 8,976 deaths.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 559, Imereti – 311, Kakheti – 269 and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions – 183.

 

Of total 19,057 Covid-19 patients, 14,120 patients are undergoing treatment at home, 4,169 patients are in hospitals, while 768 others are in Covid hotels. 

 

1,799,446 have been vaccinated in the country since March 2021, of which 814,851 have been completely vaccinated.
