Georgia reports 1,965 new cases of Covid, 3,996 recoveries, 50 deaths

Georgia has reported 1,965 new cases of coronavirus of 25,624 tests, 3,996 recoveries and 50 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

The country has had 567,922 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 

 

523,669 of the 567,922 patients have recovered, while 7,917 have died from the virus.

 

36,310 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 651, Adjara – 201 and Imereti regions – 288.

 

6,766 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while 27,392 others are at home. 

 

1,340,062 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  489,194 individuals have been fully inoculated. 

 

More than 17 percent of the country’s adult population has been completely vaccinated.
