Georgia reports 2,465 new cases of Covid of 14,138 tests

Georgia has reported 1,465 new cases of coronavirus out of 14,138 tests in the past 24 hours. 

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in February 2020  is 1,605,472.

The daily positivity rate as of yesterday is17.44%, for the last 14 days – 26.54% and for the last seven days – 22.06%.

12,840 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, while  the total number of people recovered increased to 1,504,161.

There have been 25 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,163 people have died from the virus since April 2020.

Tbilisi – 1,241 cases, 
Adjara – 194,
Imereti – 376, 
Kvemo Kartli – 116,
Shida Kartli – 111,
Guria – 89, 
Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 143, 
Kakheti – 97, 
Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 35, 
Samtskhe-Javakheti – 45,
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 18.

Active cases stand at 85, 122 out of which 4,595 people are being treated in  hospitals.
