Georgian journalists bring 145 pairs of shoes at parliament in memory of killed Ukrainian children

Five active and former Georgian journalists, Tiko Peikrishvili, Tamar Ghvinianidze, Eka Kadagishvili, Irma Nadirashvili and Maka Pankvelashvili, have organized a performance at the parliament building of Georgia and have brought 145 pairs of shoes in memory of the 145 Ukrainian children who have been killed by Russian troops since the beginning of Russian invasion in the country on February 24.

 

They said that the move was planned several days ago and that at that time the number of victim children was 115.

 

Hostilities are still in progress in Ukraine.
