Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, along with chairs of the parliament of all foreign states, have been invited to the Ukrainian town of Bucha to themselves see the “evidence Russia committed war crimes there,” Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine to Georgia, Andrey Kasyanov stated today, saying that the invitation has been made by the Ukrainian parliament speaker.

He stated that the world must make a choice between Russian ultimatums or a new security system which will benefit the whole international community.

“What the Kremlin is doing is barbarism. This is evidenced by the horrific crimes that have taken  place in Bucha, Gostomel, Irpin and other settlements. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has recorded 4,820 cases of aggression and war crimes,” Kasyanov said.

He stated that Russian occupiers have killed 167 children, wounded 297 people and injured 484.

“Statistics are changing rapidly as new horrific news emerges from different regions. In 43 days, Russia destroyed and damaged 600 schools, 200 hospitals, 1,000 homes. There are more than 100 of our citizens in the rubble whom our rescuers are trying to save. Russia  is shelling civilians,” Kasyanov said.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. Hostilities have been in progress since then.

Ukrainians made control of Bucha several days ago, finding dozens of civilians killed, raped or tortured by Russian troops.
