Georgian PM Garibashvili to visit Ukraine tomorrow

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will visit Ukraine tomorrow, where he will hold meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, PM Denys Shmyhal and Parliament Speaker Dmytro Razumkov.

 

Shmyhal will host Garibashvili in Lviv tomorrow, while the meeting with Zelensky and Razumkov  will take place on August 22. 

 

An extended meeting in a ministerial format, with the participation of Georgian and Ukrainian officials, will be held on August 22 after which Georgian and Ukrainian PMs will make statements for the media. 

 

On August 23 Garibashvili will participate in a Crimea Platform Summit with other foreign leaders where a joint resolution will be adopted. 

 

FM David Zalkaliani, Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and head of the administration of the government of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili will be present in the Georgian delegation with Garibashvili in Ukraine.
