Georgian PM offers condolences over deadly train crash in Greece

Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Wednesday expressed his sorrow over Tuesday’s deadly collision of two trains in northern Greece that killed at least 36. 

 

“I offer my sincere condolences to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis over the tragic collision of trains in Greece  claiming the lives of many people and injuring dozens. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost their loved ones. Georgia  stands beside Greece in this time of grief”, Garibashvili tweeted. 

The incident  near the city of Larissa has left up to 70 injured, with several still missing.
