The bodies of two Georgian fighters Giorgi Beriashvili and Davit Ratiani, who were killed by Russian troops during hostilities in Ukraine earlier this month, were brought to Georgia earlier today.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, along with dozens of individuals and politicians, was present at Tbilisi International Airport to pay tribute to their memory.
Individuals, holding Georgian, Ukrainian flags and candles, made a chain at the scene.
Both Georgians, who also fought against Russia during conflicts in Georgia, died during the bombardment, one in Irpin, another in Mariupol.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.
