German news agency DPA claims based on a ‘reliable source’ that NATO is expected to deploy troops to Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia amid the current tension over Ukraine.

DPA says that 30 NATO member states accepted the proposal presented by the military administrators this week and decided to deploy multinational troops to the east of Europe, while Russia demands NATO to withdraw its troops from eastern Europe and never add Georgia and Ukraine as new members.

DPA stated that the plan could be implemented next spring, with deployments to countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
