Giorgi Margvelashvili, co-founder of Tbilvino, has called on the ruling party to address the ongoing political crisis in Georgia by releasing detainees and announcing new elections. He made the statement after major business leaders met with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday.

“We believe the crisis needs to be resolved. The authority to defuse this situation lies with the ruling power. They have the ability to release detainees and schedule new elections,” Margvelashvili stated.

His remarks come amid growing tension and political unrest in the country.
