Georgian Parliament First Deputy Speaker Giorgi Volski has criticized statements by European officials concerning the withdrawal of a constitutional lawsuit, accusing them of interfering in Georgia’s domestic affairs.

“We have witnessed numerous examples of external interference and numerous statements that have no substance. Their statements are dry and resemble pounding a fist on the table - they order us not to do certain things,” Volski said.

He also criticized opposition groups, saying -“we no longer see political parties - these are revolutionary groups of conspirators acting against their own country.”
