Mikanadze provided his counterpart with detailed information on the ongoing reforms in Georgia’s education system

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, met with the Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Sara bint Youssef Al Amiri, in Dubai.

Both sides emphasized the importance of implementing the memorandum of understanding signed between the two ministries to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the ministry press office said. 

“The ministers agreed to establish a working group, whose representatives will hold their first meeting in the near future.

Mikanadze provided his counterpart with detailed information on the ongoing reforms in Georgia’s education system. In turn, the UAE Education Minister shared the country’s experience in integrating artificial intelligence into the teaching and learning process and presented the initiatives implemented in this area.

The parties also agreed to make amendments to the memorandum, which is expected to be signed during the UAE Education Minister’s visit to Georgia later this year, the statement read.
