Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze says that Georgia is a special country in the world and the presence of two Covid passports is quite acceptable for such a country.

Starting December 1 Georgians will have to present Covid passports to have access to various facilities.

The individuals who have been fully vaccinated, those who recovered from the virus and the ones with negative PCR test (performed in the past 72 tours) and a negative rapid test (performed in the past 24 hours) will have the green Covid passports.

As of now Georgians who have recovered from the coronavirus will have a ‘termless’ Covid passport, while in many foreign states only the individuals (who recovered from Covid) are given the green passports who recovered from the virus in the past six months.

Tikaradze says that the Georgians who will decide to use the green passports abroad had to meet the criteria which are in place in a certain foreign state which means that they will have to have the green passports which sets a six-month recovery period.
