Health minister: Pfizer vaccine, coronavirus medication to enter Georgia in coming weeks

Georgian Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili says that German-US Pfizer vaccine, as well as coronavirus medication will enter Georgia in the following weeks as the government had ordered them.
He also stated that the country’s health sector is prepared if Omicron strain increases daily infections or a burden on hospitals.
Azarashvili says that as of now not many people are hospitalized due to coronavirus.
Georgia has recorded 816 cases of a new strain of coronavirus dubbed as Omicron.
The country has reported 3,842 new cases of coronavirus, 1,085 recoveries and 31 deaths in the past 24 hours.
