In-person studies will resume around Georgia starting October 4 and all students will have to wear face masks, Education Minister Mikheil Chkhenkeli has stated.

Both public and private kindergartens, as well as high education and vocational education institutions will be able to resume work.

Georgian health officials stated earlier this week that the reopening of schools, kindergartners and universities would be possible as daily coronavirus cases have decreased in the country over past weeks.
